Emily Stark, Wedding Sales Coordinator
Emily Stark started her life in the event industry in 2000, while completing her BA in Theatre at ASU – Main. In 2002, she received her Certification of Completion from the Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants. For the past seven years, Emily has found herself planning a variety of events: weddings, festivals, corporate parties, and private parties in Illinois and the Phoenix Valley. She is currently completing her second degree in Recreation and Tourism at ASU-West, is an active member of WEDAZ and the Administrative Assistant for the Wedding Chronicle.
Mollie O'Brien, Corporate Sales Coordinator
Mollie O’Brien is an Arizona native, born and raised in the East Valley. She is a Northern Arizona State University graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Public Relations with an emphasis on Special Events. She began her career with an internship for a nonprofit creating and executing fundraisers. Through this experience she met the Director of Sales for a large hotel in Flagstaff, AZ and was hired as a full-time catering manager before graduating from NAU two years ago. At her first property, Mollie coordinated weddings, holiday parties, conferences, job fairs, social events, fundraisers, etc…
Mollie moved to Phoenix to be closer to her friends and family and was hired as a catering manager at Ocotillo, with an emphasis on corporate and social events. Since being at Ocotillo, Mollie has also started working with the golf team and helps coordinate tournaments throughout the year. Mollie also has experience with Weddings, and loves working with Brides and Grooms to make their big day perfect.
Mollie currently lives in Scottsdale, Arizona and absolutely loves being close to her friends and family and is thrilled to be a part of the Troon family. Event planning is very important to Mollie, both professionally and personally; she is a member of Meeting Professionals International. Mollie takes pride in working at Ocotillo and making every event a successful one!
Trinity Gangi, Banquet Manager
After years of being the “home party planner” Trinity entered the event industry in 1995 working for a company that specialized in the production of sporting events, tradeshows and concerts across the country. This is where she learned what went into planning and producing an event for thousands of guests. After 7 years of the corporate market she wanted something a little more personal and focused her attention on weddings.
Trinity joined the Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants and began working for a winery just south of Napa Valley as the Director of Events, managing 60-70 weddings a year. After moving to Arizona she found her home with Ocotillo Golf Resort as the Catering Manager, specializing in weddings. Through this position she was able to rely on her event production experience and creativity to assist her brides in making all their wedding wishes come true! As the Banquet Manager she will take all of her event experience and operational experience to create a seamless event for your guests.

My daughter had her Bat Mitzvah reception at Ocotillo last spring and the event was fantastic. Everything went incredibly smoothly, everybody enjoyed the food, the event site has spectacular views, and the staff was superb, anticipating our every need.
